TWO SHORT PLAYS PERFORMED AT THE HINDU THEATRE FESTIVAL
THE ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION OF A WRITER
BY TIMERI N MURARI.
Two poor men from a small village in Tamil Nadu are on their way to assassinate a famous writer. They are tempted by the big reward offered for his death. Their conversation meanders from violence to God, women to politics, pottery to biryani. And of course, they talk of the money. Then a woman enters their lives and everything changes.
